No person shall operate or possess any motor vehicle or motor-driven vehicle, including,
but not limited to cars, trucks, motorcycles, motorbikes, or similar vehicles on district
lands. For the purposes of this section, emergency vehicles and county or district
maintenance vehicles, battery-powered wheelchairs and other power-driven mobility
devices being used by individuals with mobility disabilities are exempted, subject
to limitations and regulations on their use in accordance with legitimate safety requirements
as established through policy adopted and publicly posted by the Marin County Open
Space District under 28 CFR §§ 35.130(h) and 35.137(b) (2).
